Getting to Fredericksburg, Texas

Where are you located?

We are located at 213 East Austin Street in downtown Fredericksburg, TX, just one block off the historic Main Street.

How far is the Airport?

  • Gillespie County Airport ~ 4 miles (approx. 11 minutes) for those traveling private, corporate, or recreational pilots.
  • San Antonio International (SAT): ~68 miles (approx. 1 hour 10 mins).
  • Austin-Bergstrom International (AUS): ~83 miles (approx. 1 hour 50 mins).

What are the parking options and costs?

We offer secured valet parking for $25 per night with full in-and-out privileges. We also have an electric car charging station on-site for guest use.

There are also complimentary self-parking options along Austin, Street & Main Street.

Dining at The Wellhouse, complimentary valet parking is on us!

What is the hotel’s cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made by 4:00p local time at least 24 hours prior to arrival to avoid a fee of one night’s room and tax. Please note that certain special offers or "Advanced Purchase" rates may have different policies; please refer to your confirmation email for details.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is at 3:00p and check-out is at 11:00a. If you arrive early or want to stay a little longer, please contact the Front Desk. We are happy to store your luggage while you explore Main Street or grab a coffee at The Pharmacy.

What do I need in order to check-in?

Upon arrival, you will need a valid government-issued photo ID and a credit card that matches the name on the reservation.

Is there a minimum age for check-in?

Yes, guests must be 21 years of age or older to check into Albert Hotel.

How do I get around Fredericksburg?

We're located right in the heart of the Historic District, making most destinations incredibly walkable. Most shops and tasting rooms are within a 5-10 minute walk. For visiting the wineries along Highway 290, we recommend the 290 Wine Shuttle or booking a private tour through our team.

Does the hotel provide ADA-compliant accommodations?

Yes, we offer several ADA-compliant rooms for guests with limited mobility, and elevators provide access to all areas of our historic property. Please contact us at concierge@alberthotel.com to ensure we assign the best room for your needs.

Do you allow smoking on property?

Albert Hotel is a 100% non-smoking property. This includes all guest rooms, balconies, and public indoor spaces. A $250 cleaning fee will be applied to any room where evidence of smoking is found.

Amenities

Do we have cribs, pac'n plays & rollaway beds?

Yes, we offer complimentary pack ‘n plays but we do not have cribs. We have rollaways available for $30/night.

What is included within the Guest Amenity Fee?

The Guest Amenity Fee is $25 per night plus tax. This fee includes:

  • High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property.
  • Access to our 24-hour fitness center, featuring your favorite fitness brands, including Peloton and Forme Mirrors.
  • Complimentary in-room filtered water and custom robes by Mirth.

Is Albert Hotel pet-friendly?

Yes, because pets need a vacation, too. We are proud to be pet-friendly with no additional pet fee.

Kindly let us know ahead of time if you are bringing your pet along, so we may prepare a waiver for you to sign upon check-in and ensure we have bowls & beds available if you need them. Please note that pets must be attended to at all times & are never permitted in food service areas.

Does the hotel have a pool?

Absolutely. Our sunken limestone pool is a centerpiece of the property. Guests can enjoy the pool bar and rent private cabanas for a more exclusive experience.

Does the hotel offer room service?

Yes, in-room dining is available daily, featuring selections from The Wellhouse at Albert Hotel.

Do you have a fitness center?

Yes, we do. It is open 24-hours a day and complete with the brands you know and love including Peloton & Forme.

We feature four distinct food and beverage concepts:

  • The Saloon: A historic gathering spot for ice-cold margarita’s, Frito pies, strong whiskey & friendly people.

  • The Pharmacy: Scratch-made pastries, sandwiches & coffee.

  • Junebug’s BBQ: Our backyard BBQ joint for bold Texas flavors.

Where is the nearest spa?

Through the lobby & around the corner — you don’t have to go far. The Spa at Albert Hotel is located right on property. Inspired by the creeks and springs of the Hill Country, our full-service spa features seven treatment rooms, including one dedicated couples’ suite.

Services: Signature massages (like the Albert Ritual), botanical facials, and restorative body treatments.

Perks: Every spa treatment includes complimentary access to the Albert Hotel pool and bar, along with 3 hours of complimentary valet parking.

What is your photography policy?

Commercial photography is prohibited unless permission has been granted by the hotel. Security will ask all unapproved photography to stop immediately. Please contact our sales team at sales@alberthotel.com with any photography requests.
