The BBQ Program at Junebug's is led by New Waterloo's Head of F+B, Justin Spencer (AKA 'Junebug' AKA 'Bug'). On the side, Bug is a competition pit-master. He and his team - Ribdiculous Bar-B-Krew - are the reigning 2023 Memphis in May WORLD CHAMPS.

Carmelite and Nina

That's bug. The massive smoker behind him is Carmelite. Named after his Grandma, Carmelite was a feisty Cajun who inspired his love of food and Dr. Pepper. The smaller smoker is Nina, named after his other Grandma. Nina was a sweet southerner from Oklahoma. Both of them were 'women you didn't want f* with.'
